Leslie has nurtured a deep love of language and music from day one, giving her a forever passion for all things related to communication via the voice. A classically trained singer, with her academic degrees in voice performance, she sang for many years on international opera and concert stages (as Leslie Johnson), in comedic and serious roles.
Leslie’s considerable vocal and performance background makes her highly directable and collaborative, traits that flow seamlessly into her narration and voiceover work. Her joy in communication impassions her to work with you to get to the heart of your message or story, big or small, and bring it to life.
Leslie is available for both writing and narrating AUDIO DESCRIPTION, as well as COMMERCIAL and NARRATION work. Her extensive background in the performing arts brings a knowledgeable and comfortable sensibility to ARTS EDUCATIONAL and PROGRAMMATIC NARRATION. A word nerd with an ear for languages, pronouncing challenging terminology and reading dense copy comes easily, making MEDICAL, PHARMACEUTICAL, and CORPORATE NARRATION a great fit. Leslie’s natural tone brings poise and warmth to E-LEARNING and EXPLAINER VIDEOS.
Leslie is equipped to record and deliver from her home studio, on her Synco Mic-D2 and Black Lion Revolution 2×2 interface, with Audacity and iZotope RX10 for editing. She is available for remote sessions through Source-Connect Standard.
